ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform basic food preparation (washing, chopping, peeling, mise en place).

  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked.

  • Ensure all hygiene and safety procedures are followed.

  • Support smooth operations by delivering ingredients and equipment as needed.

  • Work closely with senior chefs to learn and support.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across kitchen sections.

  • Show eagerness to learn new techniques and improve skills.

  • Support in implementing new ideas or recipes under guidance.

  • Adapt quickly to instructions and changing needs.

  • Assist in preparing ingredients for consistent quality and presentation.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Prior kitchen or culinary training experience is an advantage but not required.

  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene basics.

  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in hospitality.

  • Team player with attention to detail.

  • Fluency in English and French; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
