Meanwhile, Cloud 7 Residence, Dar Tantora The House Hotel’s sister property, offers a serene escape just a short distance away from the bustling city centre. The exclusive community, composed of 30 rooms, 2 F&B outlet, cigar lounge, spa, numerous bespoke retail stores will become the most sought-after earth friendly, low impact sustainable heritage eco sanctuary, where the goal is to create an experience, with workshops and activities that showcase the importance of the destination in history.
ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and implement the hotel’s sales strategy in line with overall business objectives, market positioning, and revenue targets.
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, travel trade, and group segments.
Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, travel agents, DMCs, and corporate accounts.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation, contracting, and account management.
Drive revenue growth through strategic account development, upselling opportunities, and market expansion initiatives.
Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, business opportunities, and pricing strategies.
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, sales trips, and networking functions to promote the property and brand presence.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, budgets, and performance analysis aligned with hotel revenue goals.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Revenue teams to align sales initiatives with campaigns, promotions, and brand positioning.
Coordinate with internal departments including Reservations, Operations, Finance, and F&B to ensure seamless guest and client experiences.
Supervise, mentor, and support junior sales team members while promoting a high-performance sales culture.
Monitor and achieve individual and team sales targets, contributing to overall hotel profitability and business growth.
Maintain accurate account records, contracts, and sales activities within CRM systems and reporting tools.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in hotel sales, with previous experience in a Senior Sales Manager or similar leadership role preferred.
Strong understanding of hotel sales strategies, distribution channels, contracting, and revenue generation practices.
Proven track record in securing new business, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, networking, and presentation skills.
Strong leadership and relationship-management abilities with a client-focused mindset.
Results-driven, proactive, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
Familiarity with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and hotel PMS systems.
Good knowledge of local and international travel markets is a strong advantage.
Ability to travel for sales activities, client meetings, and industry events when required.
Fluent in English.
