ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the operation of the assigned kitchen section, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely service.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with company standards and recipes.
Supervise and support junior kitchen team members within the section.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels, support ordering, and ensure proper storage and waste control.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times.
Support the Head Chef/Sous Chef in maintaining operational efficiency and kitchen standards.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field preferred.
Minimum 2–4 years of kitchen experience, including experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and hygiene standards.
Ability to manage a section independently and work under pressure.
Basic supervisory skills with the ability to support and guide junior team members.
Good understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
Strong attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Flexible and adaptable to operational needs and shift work.
Fluency in English and French; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
