ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise daily front office operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out experiences.
Lead, support, and motivate the front office team to deliver high-quality guest service.
Handle reservations, room assignments, billing, and cash handling with accuracy.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and complaints, ensuring effective resolution.
Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Monitor front office procedures, service standards, and compliance with hotel policies and safety regulations.
Train and guide front office team members on operational procedures and guest service standards.
Maintain accurate guest records, reports, and transactions in the PMS system.
Assist in preparing shift reports, room status updates, and daily operational briefings.
Support upselling initiatives and promote hotel services and facilities to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
Ensure professional appearance, grooming, and conduct of the front office team at all times.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Bachelor or degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in Front Office operations, with supervisory experience in hospitality preferred.
Knowledge of PMS and front office systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar) is required.
Strong understanding of front office procedures, reservations, billing, and guest relations.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to manage shifts, supervise team performance, and handle operational challenges effectively.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Fluency in English and French; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
