Cloud 7 Residence Aqaba is a vibrant, lifestyle-driven waterfront destination set within the heart of Ayla Marina Village, designed for the next generation of travelers seeking space, comfort, and connection. The property features 75 fully serviced residences, ranging from one to four bedrooms and a luxurious presidential villa, combining Asian and Mediterranean-inspired interiors with modern, fully equipped living spaces. Surrounded by a dynamic ecosystem of dining, retail, and leisure, guests enjoy direct access to a wide range of experiences including beach clubs, water sports, golf courses, and adventure parks. Set along a stunning turquoise lagoon on the Red Sea, the destination blends residential comfort with a lively community atmosphere, offering private terraces, marina views, and a seamless mix of relaxation and activity.
Location: Located in Aqaba, Jordan’s only coastal city on the Red Sea, Cloud7 Residence Ayla Aqaba sits within the prestigious Ayla Oasis development, just 3.1 km from the city center and only 150 meters from the beach. The destination offers easy access to iconic attractions such as Petra (2 hours away) and Wadi Rum (50 minutes away), while King Hussein International Airport is just 8 km from the property, ensuring convenient connectivity for both regional and international travelers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee all rooms division operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations, and Guest Services, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Lead, train, and develop the rooms division team to deliver high service standards and exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes, room readiness, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Monitor occupancy levels, forecasts, and room inventory to optimize performance and maximize revenue.
• Implement and maintain service standards, SOPs, and quality assurance processes in line with brand and company expectations.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue, Sales, and F&B teams to align on guest experience and operational strategies.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and VIP requirements professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor and control departmental costs, including labor and operational expenses, to ensure efficiency.
• Use guest feedback, data, and operational reports to drive continuous improvement and enhance service delivery.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in rooms division operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office and Housekeeping operations, service standards, and guest experience management.
• Solid understanding of occupancy management, forecasting, and operational planning.
• Experience in pre-opening environments or multi-department roles is a strong advantage.
• High proficiency in hotel systems (PMS, channel managers, housekeeping systems) and operational reporting tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
