ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide first-line technical support to hotel staff, responding to IT requests and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

• Assist in maintaining the hotel's IT infrastructure, including computers, printers, phones, Wi-Fi, and network equipment.

• Support the daily operation of hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and other business applications, escalating complex issues to the IT Manager or vendors.

• Install, configure, and update computers, devices, and software in line with company standards.

• Assist with routine backups, antivirus updates, and security checks to help protect hotel systems and data.

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support tickets, and maintenance activities.

• Set up IT equipment for meetings, conferences, and events, and support guests with in-room technology and internet access when needed.

• Assist with system upgrades, technology projects, and the setup of new users and devices.

• Follow company IT policies and security standards, and help train staff on basic system use and best practices.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of IT support experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.

• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, networking basics, and hardware troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with hotel systems such as PMS and POS is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused, service-oriented attitude.

• Ability to work in shifts and respond to urgent issues when required.

• Good organizational and communication skills.

• Fluent in English and Arabic.
