ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Process and review accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Ensure compliance with local tax, billing, and regulatory requirements.
Support cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and petty cash controls.
Coordinate with operational departments on cost control, procurement, and supplier payments.
Assist with internal and external audits, preparing required documentation.
Apply internal financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within hospitality.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
Experience with accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions.
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Good communication skills with the ability to work across departments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional regional Indian languages is an advantage.
