ABOUT THE PROPERTY
The House Hotel Kvareli aims to be Kakheti’s leading destination, seamlessly blending Georgian wine culture, contemporary art, and authentic hospitality. Set within the region’s scenic natural beauty, the property is a 94-room luxury destination resort surrounded by expansive vineyards, landscaped gardens, and forest territory.
The resort features a Georgian Grill Restaurant, multiple barbecue areas, bonfire and designated picnic spaces. Leisure and wellness facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with pool bar, a spa with indoor pool and sauna, a fully equipped gym, tennis and padel courts, and an outdoor Kids Club.
Business and events infrastructure include the Ouspace business area, conference and meeting facilities, and the Kvareli Pavilion, a dedicated large-scale event venue accommodating up to 700 guests. The estate is further enhanced by vineyard areas, hiking and horse-riding trails, recreation zones, parking for up to 100 cars, bicycle and golf cart parking, and on-site staff accommodation.
Location: Conveniently located in Kakheti, the property is 40 km from Telavi, 130 km from Tbilisi International Airport, and approximately 140 km from Tbilisi city centre, offering accessibility while remaining immersed in nature.
ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and bake a wide range of breads, viennoiserie, and baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
Oversee mise en place for the bakery section, ensuring readiness and efficiency during service.
Maintain consistency in textures, flavors, and presentation of all bakery items.
Manage stock rotation, monitor inventory, and assist with ordering bakery supplies.
Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of bakery equipment and workstations.
Collaborate with the pastry and kitchen teams to coordinate timing and service flow.
Implement and maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in the bakery section.
Assist in developing new bakery items and seasonal offerings.
Take ownership of the bakery section, ensuring smooth operations under pressure.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Proven experience as a Bakery Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef in bakery.
Strong knowledge of bread, viennoiserie, and bakery techniques.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about baking.
Fluent in English; Georgian is an advantage.
